Q: What is a freight broker agent?
A: You will be running your own business representing Vulcan Logistics
as a contractor. Agents will work on a commission basis and operate
under the Vulcan corporate umbrella. Utilizing Vulcan Logistics
Freight Broker license (MC# 214503).
Q: Do I have to work at a Vulcan Logistics office?
A: No, but you can. Most freight broker/ agents choose to work from
their homes or own small office. Vulcan Logistics also gives you
the option to work from one of their company offices or warehouse
locations around the country. You can even work from the corporate
office just outside Birmingham, Alabama, and become a member of
the corporate brokerage team.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: Agent commissions are paid weekly based on freight invoices received

Steel Products overflow freight (internal-loads). Both inbound and
outbound. No outside brokers will be allowed to move Vulcan Steel
products loads. Only brokers who are agents for Vulcan Logistics.

efficiently, effectively and profitably.
